Seasons of Change – Exploring Ethics and Artificial Intelligence
CETLA is proud to continue highlighting GCU’s Fall Into Learning with AI challenge in collaboration with Faculty Training & Development, showcasing innovative ways faculty are integrating AI to inspire ethical thinking, creativity, and engagement.

This week’s spotlight features Dr. Zenja Johnson, Instructor of Introduction to Psychology, whose assignment, “Seasons of Change: Exploring Ethics and Artificial Intelligence,” invites students to reflect on transformation, both in nature and in the evolving world of technology.

Through this creative and reflective project, students analyze the ethical implications of AI, examine its impact on education and society, and learn how to use AI tools responsibly to enhance their own learning. The assignment combines two dynamic components, a written critical reflection and a Canva-designed infographic, encouraging learners to think critically, act ethically, and express their creativity in visually engaging ways.

Dr. Johnson’s approach captures the true spirit of fall: growth, reflection, and transformation. Her assignment empowers students to see AI not just as a tool for innovation, but as a catalyst for ethical inquiry and purposeful learning.

🍂 Let’s celebrate the GCU faculty who continue to inspire students to embrace change, think deeply, and engage meaningfully with technology!

➡️ Stay tuned as we continue to feature more faculty innovators throughout the month, and follow Faculty Training & Development on LinkedIn for weekly highlights.
